Search Engine Optimization is the process of driving a quality traffic into your website through search engines. This is the simplest way to describe the process but how is it done?
Having a blog is not just knowing how and what to post. Most probably that is the main goal of putting up a blog. That is if you don’t want to earn money out of it. But most people now are into blogging to earn extra income out of it. This could happen if our site is very well optimized and is search engine friendly.
Each one of us has our own style of promoting our site, we go for free advertisements or even those paid ads just to promote our site and gain traffic. We submit articles, post on forums, submit to directories and exchange links with other blogger. Those are the most common ways of promoting and gaining traffics. We could somehow ask ourselves sometimes how other people promote their site that they were able to make it to the top. Yes, maybe it needs more hard works and efficient strategies to make it. Promotion of the site in this way is what we called off page optimization.
On the other hand we still have other way of optimizing our site, this time we need to touch and go over with the pages and contents of our site. We need to have good meta tags, blogging platform, keywords and contents that are search engine friendly. This is now what we consider as Search Engine Optimization.
