The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is an international bestseller of which the story was about  a boy named Santiago who is a native of Andalusia. He was trained for priesthood but he is into travelling more than his practiced profession because he is yearning to search for worldly treasures. So, he left the seminary and joined a group of shepherd and bought sheeps. From Spain, he travels to the markets of Tangiers and across the Egyptian desert. Along his journey, he took a rest at an abandoned church. He fell asleep and had a strange dream about a girl who took him to the Pyramids. He was told by the girl that there was a hidden treasure at the Pyramids. Thus, the dream inspired Santiago to search for the hidden treasures. He encountered a stranger who claims to be the King of Salem and convinced him to really find for the hidden treasures.

The Alchemist story is a very inspiring fable that would teach us on the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts desire and pursuing our dreams with passion and motivation. It only needs determination to reach for the goals.
