Google AdSense New Way to Generate Revenue

adsense_logoGoogle has announced its plan of giving us AdSense publishers a new way to generate revenue in AdSense by allowing multiple Google-certified ad networks to compete for display ad space on our sites as requested by most AdSense publishers.

It has been noted that ads served from qualified third-party vendors has been accepted for over a year already. This helped increased the number of display ads competing on AdSense publishers’ sites. In line with this, they made new changes of which they include participating ad networks to bid in their auction to appear on AdSense sites. With this new changes, it is expected that we, AdSense publishers, will generate the most profit for every ad that will appear on our sites, whether the ad comes from AdWord advertisers or of any Google-certified ad networks.

These ad networks are those agencies or company that has been a partner of advertisers and publishers to buy/sell ads on sites that they do not own, more likely the same with AdSense. We can then allow advertisers from these ad networks to compete with AdWords advertisers for our ad space. Still, all reports and payments will run through AdSense. The available ad formats will be the same with that offered for AdWord ads.

This would be a great bonus for us AdSense publishers since there are more participants now competing to display ads in our site. Most probably, this would drive higher CPC (cost-per-click) which means a higher AdSense earning. As for now, this new revenue is currently available in US and European markets, but for sure this would be rolled out worldwide in a timely fashion. This is something that we publishers must be looking forward to.
